Over 100 years ago, Aubrey James Coyle started a small store and manufacturing plant in Kinglake, Ontario. The sandy soil along the northern shores of Lake Erie grew the fruit and vegetables he processed and sold in his store.

His family flourished in this small village, but in time they were ready for a change, moving north a few miles to the bustling town of Tillsonburg. Incorporation came in 1924 and the family business became known as Coyle’s Products Limited.

Established in 1899

Growth and change went hand and hand over the years with a new wholesale featuring the Coral Isle roasted peanut brand and Derry Malt instant chocolate powder. A small nook to the side of the factory, with a few barrels of roasted peanuts, was the beginning of the Coyle’s Factory Outlets of the 1970s.

Many years of growth gave way to expansion in 1979 with another move to the present 25,000 sq. ft. facility in South-West Oxford Township. A tradition of quality and freshness continues today in Coyle’s Country Store.
